Christmas Lighting Contest Winners
Winners, Winners, Winners.....Our Christmas Lighting Contest winners were announced this week. Tracy Koschmeder at 95 N. Rambling Ridge took First Place in the single home category and Harmony Hollow (off of Genesee Ridge) once again took Neighborhood division with its 95.2 participation rate. 20 out of 21 homes on Harmony Hollow has some sort of decoration display to show their spirit. Both winners are to be congratulated for active participation in our contest. Tracy says that she decorated alone and she begin her tasks before Thanksgiving. Her "country, cozy style" warmed the judges' hearts and they indicated that her style was different and refreshing. Harmony Hollow residents came out to participate in the award saying that "it was truly a community effort" and they are grateful for the win.
Many other beautiful displays of light are scattered about our neighborhoods. The Dodds on Knightsbridge Dr. have brought their usual spirit to full force with their lighting display synchronized to music. It's well worth the drive. Their neighbors, the Patels have really stepped up to offer the Dodds support. Their display enhances the overall street effects.
Other areas of interest are Bowie Bend, Capshaw Court, E Misty Dawn, Danville Crossing, Delta Mill (our previous winner), Fair Wind Trail and many others. Ride around and check out all of the beautiful displays throughout all of our neighborhood in Harper's Landing, Windsor Hills and Grogan's Forest.
Many thanks to all who have decorated and participated in our very festive lighting contest. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you and may the New Year bring us all joy, peace and great health.
